I was born and raised in Ostrava (eastern city known for its mining). After grammar school, I graduated in Brno with a bachelor's degree in Food safety and quality, and then I moved to Prague, where I obtained the engineer degree of in Microbiology. As it happens in life, another twist came and I moved to Poland for 2 years. It was there that I got to teach the Czech language and I also started practicing yoga every day. I always enjoyed languages at school, and I also graduated from all of those that I studied (Czech, English, German). I am also an avid traveler, regularly testing my language skills. :) I also lived in Belgium for a year and regularly traveled to France, where my partner is from. Yoga became my passion and I realized that I wanted to share it with others.

For a year, I taught Czech and Microbiology to students of different nationalities of all ages online. My youngest student was 6 years old and my oldest was even 80 years old! (That's called determination! Here's to Harry, and may all students be this fired up :)). I have taught students from Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Russia, the USA and Japan. We have built lasting friendships with some. I gained experience teaching a non-speaking young student and also a dyslexic.

After the past year, I found a job closer to the fields I studied (in clinical studies). I believed that this step would be a natural and logical development of my career. The opposite became true. :) It was a good experience (like any experience!), but it helped me figure out what I don't want to do in life. I felt like a grain of sand behind a screen in a corporate company, and this way of working didn't fulfill me and didn't give me deeper meaning. I am grateful for this opportunity, but I have decided to leave.

I realised that teaching gave me a spark that I lacked in my previous job. I want to see the progress of my students, I want to be in close contact with them and share the joy of their small and big successes!

I want to move forward together.

Whether it's about improving your Czech, getting to know the microscopic world or calming your body and mind through yoga.

I am really looking forward to meeting and inspiring each other.
